More Rolls Royce for ChinaStory by Jeff Feldsher - October 8,2007 What do you get when you mix large quantities of lead in paint used for children’s toys? Apparently a new Rolls Royce dealership. Since first landing in China in 2003, the demand for Rolls Royce vehicles has steadily grown, and now a spacious new showroom has opened in an upscale business district of Shanghai.
Catering to the most affluent buyers, this stylish display area will allow the luxury automaker to import and sell an increasing number of different models. While all are based on the legendary Phantom, Rolls Royce has also added the Phantom Extended Wheelbase and a new convertible, dubbed the Phantom Drophead Coupe.
China is currently the third largest market for Rolls Royce, behind the United States and Britain.
